On November 27, 2018, the Italian BRESOV partner CREA (Research Center for Vegetable and Ornamental Crop) will participate in a workshop entitled “Quality schemes for agricultural and food products: the Organic Horticulture sector”. The event is jointly organised with ISMEA (Istituto di Servizi per il Mercato Agricolo Alimentare) and will take place at the CREA premises in Monsampolo del Tronto (Italy).
The meeting of the focus group will discuss the opportunities and phenomena that are affecting the world of organic horticulture. The following topics will be addressed:
The focus group is aimed at the stakeholders of organic vegetable production including authorities of the rural development program 2014/2020, officials responsible for the National measures on organic, technicians and researchers, organic horticultural farmers, processing and seed companies, trade associations as well as certification institutions. At the end of the meeting, a visit to the organic certified field will be organized and the following projects associated with the themes of the focus group will be presented:
