The BRESOV coordinator Prof. Ferdinando Branca from the University of Catania presented the BRESOV project at the XXX International Horticultural Congress (IHC 2018) which was held between August 12-16, 2018 in Istanbul (Turkey).
During the congress representatives of the University of Catania presented a paper "Brassica Oleracea Complex Species in Sicily. Uses and conservation strategies" and a poster “Effects of microorganisms on the growth and the development of tomato crop”. In addition, the event was used for presenting the BRESOV project to members of the International Society for Horticultural Science which is a global network comprising over 53,000 individuals, universities, governments, institutions, libraries and commercial companies. 1,800 researchers participated in the 30th edition of the International Horticultural Congress attending 39 symposia, 9 workshops and 2 colloquia. This was an important opportunity to spread the word about the launch of the BRESOV project in front of the largest and most important framework for horticultural science.
