Join stakeholders and policymakers at the EU Knowledge Valorisation Week between 25 April and 28 April 2023. The annual event highlights best practices promoting the uptake of research results and science-based solutions for all. This year, the event’s focus is on spotlighting inspiring examples of how the recently adopted "Guiding Principles for Knowledge Valorisation" can be put into practice. This new pan-European initiative aims to turn research and innovation results into solutions more effectively.
The fully virtual event will be live-streamed on the online platform. Participants can exchange experiences, discover novel approaches and network with others. Practitioners will explain how the new European Codes of Practice on intellectual assets management and standardisation can offer guidance in daily practice.
Several thematic days will focus on valorisation for sustainability, management of intellectual assets and industry-academia cooperation. Hands-on training and free online courses on intellectual assets management are available for researchers, young innovators and anyone interested.
To this end, Jörg Scherer from project partner EURICE has been invited to give a talk on "Facing Challenges: Navigating IP in Collaborative Innovation Processes" on Friday, 28 April 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. to highlight key IP issues to be addressed in joint innovation activities.
Download the programme or visit the official event page for more information.
The EU Knowledge Valorisation Week is organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General Research and Innovation, EU Member States and EEA countries, as well as stakeholders who have offered to share their best practices.
