The BRESOV consortium gathered for its 4th Annual Progress Meeting from 5th to 7th July 2022 in Valencia, Spain. The meeting was carried out in hybrid mode, welcoming about 40 participants on-site at the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV), meeting each other face to face for the first time after more than two years, and about 30 participants online. Thanks to the tremendous efforts of partner UPV in organising this hybrid meeting, partners online and onsite could share their views in direct live discussions, despite of being up to several thousands of kilometres apart. During the meeting the work progress in all WPs and Crop Groups as well as the ongoing and future activities in all WP tasks were discussed in detail and the plans for the final stretch of BRESOV were presented. A dedicated Exploition Workshop with experts Sandra Goritschnig (ECPGR), Szonja Csörgő, and Nick Vangheluwe (both Euroseeds) gave all partners the opportunity to either discuss IP possibilities via possible exploitation routes for commercialisation or exploitation via the EVA networks/ further research cooperations in parallel break-out sessions. Our Scientific Advisory Board member Sandra Goritschnig (ECPGR) summarised her views on the progress of the BRESOV project and provided valuable input on future project activities. The meeting included a live visit to one of the BRESOV trial sites at partner UPV near Valencia.
