Located at the West Lake Cultural Landscape of Hangzhou of eastern China, a world heritage, the Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences (ZAAS) has a total of 16 institutes and 1000 researchers with the aim to provide assistance for agriculture and farmer development of Zhejiang province, China. The Institute of Vegetables of ZAAS is engaged in breeding and cultivation of new varieties of solanaceae, cruciferae, bean, gourd, melon and other crops.
Within BRESOV, ZAAS will be involved in WP2, WP3, WP5 and WP6 activities related to all three crops, namely green bean, tomato and broccoli.
