The Regional Agrifood Research and Development Service (SERIDA) is a non-profit institution depending on the government of Asturias (Spain). The main aims are to contribute to the modernisation and improvement of the regional agri-food productions through research and technological development in farming, livestock, forestry and food in order to diversify and increase the local productions.
SERIDA’s main roll in BRESOV is phenotyping and genotyping of snap bean panels and mapping population in order to identify the best genotypes adapted to organic production and genes or QTL important in the organic production of snap beans.
